FLAKE × TRAVEL BY HEART
WIN A RETURN FLIGHT BETWEEN NUUK & COPENHAGEN
1. Organisers
The competition is organised by FLAKE MVMT / Snow ApS in collaboration with Travel By Heart, who is sponsoring the flight prize.
The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Facebook.
2. Who can enter?
The competition is open to individuals who:
- Are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
- Are residents of Greenland or Denmark.
- Have an Instagram account that allows FLAKE and Travel By Heart to verify that the entry requirements have been fulfilled.
Employees of FLAKE MVMT / Snow ApS and Travel By Heart, as well as individuals directly involved in organising the competition, are not eligible to participate.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
3. How to enter
To participate in the competition, you must:
- Follow @flakemvmt on Instagram.
- Follow @travelbyheart on Instagram.
- Like the official competition post.
- Share the official competition post to your Instagram Story.
All four requirements are mandatory.
Participants with a private Instagram account must send @flakemvmt a screenshot via Instagram Direct Message showing that the competition post has been shared to their Story, so that their participation can be verified.
The screenshot must be received before September 1st at 11:59 PM Greenland time (UTC−2).
Participants with public accounts must also have completed the Story-share requirement during the competition period.
No purchase, newsletter registration or tagging of other people is required.
Each person may participate once.
By participating, entrants confirm that they meet all eligibility requirements and accept these Competition Terms & Conditions.
4. Competition period
The competition starts on august 28, 2026.
Competition closes September 1st at 11:59 PM Greenland time (UTC−2).
Entries received after the closing time will not be included in the draw.
5. The prize
One winner will receive one return flight between Nuuk and Copenhagen.
The winner can choose where the journey starts:
🇬🇱 Nuuk → Copenhagen → Nuuk
or
🇩🇰 Copenhagen → Nuuk → Copenhagen
The prize covers the cheapest available return fare on the winner’s selected travel dates at the time the booking is made.
The exact airline, departure times, routing and fare type will depend on availability.
The prize includes one piece of checked baggage of up to 20 kg.
If the winner wishes to choose a more expensive fare, different flight option, additional baggage, seat reservation, flexible ticket conditions or another upgrade, any additional cost will be paid by the winner, subject to availability and the applicable airline’s conditions.
Transportation to and from the airports, accommodation, travel insurance, meals and other personal travel expenses are not included.
The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other products or services.
6. Booking and travel period
The journey must be booked at least four weeks before the requested departure date.
The entire return journey must be completed no later than 31 December 2027.
The winner may request preferred travel dates, but all travel is subject to availability.
Travel By Heart will book the cheapest available return fare between Nuuk and Copenhagen for the winner’s selected travel dates.
If suitable flights are not available on the requested dates, the winner may be asked to select alternative travel dates.
The winner is responsible for providing all information required to make the booking correctly and within the required timeframe.
Once the booking has been confirmed and the ticket issued, the applicable airline and fare conditions will apply.
7. Transfer of the prize
The prize may be transferred to another person before the flight has been booked.
If the winner wishes to transfer the prize, Travel By Heart must be informed before the booking is made, and the correct passenger details for the person who will travel must be provided.
Once the flight has been booked and the ticket has been issued in the passenger’s name, the prize cannot be transferred to another person or changed to another name, except where the applicable airline and fare conditions expressly permit this.
Any fees or additional costs associated with changes after booking are the responsibility of the traveller.
The prize cannot be sold or exchanged for cash.
8. Selection of the winner
After the competition closes, all eligible participants who have fulfilled all four entry requirements will be included in the draw.
To be eligible, the participant must have:
- Followed @flakemvmt
- Followed @travelbyheart
- Liked the official competition post
- Shared the official competition post to their Instagram Story
For participants with private accounts, FLAKE must have received the required screenshot documenting the Story share before the competition deadline.
One winner will be selected at random through a manual draw.
The draw will take place on september 2nd,2026.
FLAKE and/or Travel By Heart will verify that the selected participant has fulfilled all applicable competition requirements before confirming the winner.
If the selected participant cannot be verified or has not fulfilled all requirements, the participant will be disqualified and a new winner will be selected at random.
The winner must still be following @flakemvmt and @travelbyheart when the winner is verified.
9. Notification of the winner
The winner will be contacted directly by FLAKE via Instagram Direct Message from the official @flakemvmt account.
The winner must respond within 7 days of receiving notification that they have won.
If the winner:
- Does not respond within seven days,
- Cannot be contacted,
- Does not meet the eligibility requirements,
- Has not fulfilled all entry requirements, or
- Declines the prize,
FLAKE reserves the right to select a new winner through another random draw.
The confirmed winner may subsequently be announced through FLAKE and/or Travel By Heart’s social media channels.
Participants should be aware of fake or fraudulent accounts. FLAKE and Travel By Heart will never ask the winner to make a payment or provide credit card details in order to receive the prize.
10. Changes after booking
Once the flight has been booked, any request from the winner/passenger to change the travel dates, flights or other booking details will be subject to the applicable airline and fare conditions.
Any additional fees or fare differences resulting from changes requested by the traveller after booking are the responsibility of the traveller unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11. Flight cancellations, delays and disruptions
FLAKE and Travel By Heart cannot guarantee airline schedules and are not responsible for flight cancellations, delays, schedule changes, weather disruptions or other circumstances outside their reasonable control.
In the event of an airline cancellation, significant delay or other disruption, any rebooking, refund or compensation will be handled in accordance with the applicable airline’s conditions and applicable passenger rights.
12. Travel documents
The traveller is responsible for ensuring that they have all valid identification, documentation and any other requirements necessary to complete the journey.
Failure to travel because the traveller does not have the necessary documentation does not entitle the winner to a replacement prize or cash compensation.
13. Taxes, duties and additional expenses
Any personal taxes, duties or other charges that may arise for the winner in connection with receiving or using the prize are the responsibility of the winner, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Any costs not expressly stated as being included in the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
14. Personal information
Any personal information collected from the winner will only be used for the administration of the competition, verification of eligibility and arrangement of the prize, unless separate consent has been provided for another purpose.
Participation in the competition does not constitute consent to receive email marketing or other direct electronic marketing from FLAKE or Travel By Heart.
15. Instagram and Facebook
This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Facebook.
By participating, entrants acknowledge that Instagram and Facebook have no responsibility for the competition, its administration or the prize.
16. Acceptance of the competition terms
By participating in the competition, participants confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements and accept these Competition Terms & Conditions.
